Minced beef
Onion
Carrot
Garlic
Stock cube
Mushrooms
Peppers
Celery
Parsnip
Tinned tomatoes
Spaghetti

Add chopped onion, carrot & garlic to a large pan with hot oil until pale in colour. 
Add the beef and crumble in the stock cube. Cook until brown, stirring regularly. 
Add the diced mushrooms, peppers, celery & parsnips of using.
Add the tinned tomatoes, stir and cover and cook the pasta. 
Cook covered until the pasta is cooked. 
Remove the lid and turn up the heat while draining the pasta. 
Add the pasta to the sauce and stir well.

Gravy in 3 easy steps. 

Remove your meat and wrap in foil. 

Put the roasting tin on the heat and add a scoop of plain flour. 

Slowly add your desired flavoring (red wine, white wine, beef stock, chicken stock) and boil to your favoured consistency

Easy fish pie.  25-30min
Fish - Cod, Salmon. Prawns if desired.  Milk Butter Plain flour Potatoes Carrots Parsnips  Peas Cheese
Set your oven to 180ºC
Peel & chop the potatoes, carrots & parsnips into chunks. Add to boiling, salted water. Cover until cooked.
Put fish in a pan and just cover with milk. Boil until flaky. Strain the fish into an ovenproof dish, keeping the milk.
In the same pan melt a 1 inch block of butter. Add enough flour to make a ball. Add the saved milk slowly, stirring to remove lumps over the heat.  When fully combined, mix the fish, white sauce and peas in your ovenproof dish.
Mash the potatoes, carrots & parsnips (these can be bended) together with a little butter. When mashed, add to the top of your fish.
Cook for 10 min. Cover with grated cheese and place under the grill until browned & bubbling.
